Why I Love Art?

"Art is the desire of man to express himself, to record the reactions of his personality to the world he lives in," (Amy Lowell).  For me art is a hobby even if I do not this occasionally. I usually do this once in a blue moon. I grew up drawing cars and looking at my brothers drawings. Honestly, my drawing skills are not that good. I will say that my drawing is decent. Art is love, art is life.

Art is not just about what you draw or paint but sometimes its good to know important people involved.     It does not have to be the most important people but the people that the art work that one is interested in. For example, Diego Rivera and Leonardo Da Vinci are two artist that I find their work to be interesting. Diego Rivera was born in December 8, 1886, in Guanajuato, Mexico. Most of his paintings express his thoughts of society and people. A painting that I found interesting are "Dream of a Sunday afternoon in Alameda Park"

This drawing represents Mexico's rich history. From left to right, it is The Conquest, The Porfiriato Dictatorship, and The Revolution of 1910. Also this drawing of Diego Rivera, he includes himself as a little kid in the middle with " La Calavera Caterina".  Leonardo Da Vinci was born in April 15, 1452, in Vinci, Italy. He is a scientist, mathematician, engeneer, inventor, and painter. For this reasons, he is also known as "The Renaissance Man". I like his art work, such as of his projects of inventions and his code that he used in his book, where he kept all his projects. One of his art work that I like is his sketches of his studies on flowers. Like this sketch of his because I like drawing flowers. Flowers to me are beautiful. Even if it looks simple to draw, Leonardo Da Vinci makes it complex.

When I draw, I don't have expensive materials. I used basic materials. Materials that just make me continue to draw. The material I use are a pencil, a sketch book, a pen, and some reference pictures. I'm not sure if it is me but sometimes I have to use a specific kind of pencil or pen. It makes me more comfortable to draw or sketch. I use reference pictures to get mind thinking to get better ideas on the paper. It does not have to be pictures that motivate me to draw but the pictures can be the main topic or the main focus that I'm drawing. It even helps if, one is creative. I think that I'm not creative. I don;y like my drawings to include to many ideas because sometimes I feel that it is going to mess up but thats just me. It's good to practice because it helps improve one's drawing.

Art is my favorite activity because it helps me relief stress, express my thoughts, and feelings. In other words, art has benefits. Most of drawings have feelings and thoughts that I express into my paper.  So, most of my drawings have a message that I try to convey. This helps me relief the stress I have. Something that also helps me relief stress while drawing, is listening to music. At the end, I feel relaxed and I feel better.

Overall, Art is my favorite activity.  Art will always continue to be part of my life. I will draw till I die but I'm not thinking about having a major in art. Instead, art or drawing will continue to be a hobby.  Thank you for having time to read or skim through my post.

Every time I meet someone.

Hello! My name is Jesus and these photos show my first impressions of when I meet someone. Every time I meet someone, I feel uncomfortable and shy. I think that is how it goes for everyone else. Honestly, I get to comfortable to when I meet someone. I start feeling okay, when I'm around that person. Also, I laugh too much. I say corny jokes and other corny statements.
